Go skiing in Dubai

If you love the warmth of the desert but adore the cool thrills of the ski slope, you can experience both in Dubai. Ski Dubai is the Middle East’s first indoor ski slope where you can slide, slalom, and slip your way down real snow slopes. Everything is included, from skis and snowboards through to boots and jackets, and this unique attraction is perfect for visitors of all ages. Ski Dubai is located in the Mall of the Emirates, one of the largest malls in Dubai.

Motiongate Dubai

This is a movie-based park packed with some of Hollywood’s best-loved characters, and is the largest park of its kind in the Middle East. Motiongate is spread across five zones, and draws its inspiration from three of the world’s largest studios; DreamWorks Animation, Colombia Pictures, and Lionsgate. Meet the Smurfs, Shrek, and Kung Fu Panda, as well as a host of other popular characters.

The park has 27 key rides and attractions, including rollercoasters, interactive play labs, and nine restaurants. It’s possible to book tickets for the park in advance, so you can avoid any queues.

Legoland Dubai and Legoland Waterpark Dubai

Two parks sharing similar themes, but with so much to offer that you’ll need more than one trip to see everything. Legoland Dubai has over 40 Lego-themed rides, attractions and shows, and with 60 million Lego bricks and 15,000 models to see, there’s always lots of indoor and outdoor attractions for families. Explore six themed ‘Lands’, including Kingdoms, Imagination, to Adventure.

Legoland Waterpark Dubai keeps the Lego theme going, but with the added attraction of a waterpark. Kids will love the 20 water slides and pools on offer, along with plenty of other amenities that include family-friendly restaurants, changing rooms and shops for souvenirs.

Like any of the Dubai Parks and Resorts theme parks, you can buy your ticket online and have it waiting for you at the gate to avoid the queues.

Wild Wadi Waterpark

From slides and pipes through to the ultimate inland surfing experience, the Wadi Waterpark is one of the city’s most popular water parks in Dubai. If you fancy hanging ten with the surfers then head to the Wipeout and Riptide wave experiences, or just splash about in the pools with the kids for a great way to cool down. Wild Wadi Waterpark has 30 rides and attractions to choose from, all taking their inspiration from Arabian folklore character Juha, who you will see throughout the park in various costumes.
