Where can you enjoy the FIFA World Cup in Dubai?

13 Jun 2018

We’re just days from the kick-off in Russia, and the thrilling roller-coaster-ride that is the FIFA World Cup. From cheering on the underdogs to supporting the favourites, football fans are gathering together to watch the matches and all the drama as it unfolds.

If you’re in Dubai, we’ve hunted down the best spots to watch all the action.

Mr Toad’s Pub & Kitchen, Premiere Inn’s across Dubai

Mr Toad’s across Dubai is embracing all things World Cup, and with great deals on food and beverages it makes it a go-to place to watch all the football unfold. You don’t need a reservation which makes things even better as you’re guaranteed a spot to watch with your friends.

Bidi Bondi FIFA Tent, Palm Jumeirah

A top spot for football fans, this fully air-conditioned tent offers up 17 screens where you can watch all the action in glorious HD. Three of the screens are giant, so everyone can see every second of the matches. Entry fee includes four drinks and a meal, or five drinks.

Burger & Lobster, Burj Daman Building

This popular spot is sporting a 3m x 3m screen, so you’ll almost feel like you’re right in the heart of the stadium. As we all get a little peckish when we’re watching the sporting action on-screen, they’re also doing a great line in delicious food too, with a Burger & Lobster combination for two that’s full of treats like mini-shrimp rolls and adorable mini-burgers.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club

This exclusive club is putting down the putters for a while and joining in with all the World Cup action. A big-screen shows all the goals, penalties, and near-misses while you dine on ‘pub grub’ and drinks.

Armani Hotel, Dubai

With a fabulous backdrop of the iconic Dubai Fountain and cool, air-conditioned luxury, the Armani Hotel is one of the most exclusive spots in the city. During the World Cup it will be showing all the action while serving a smorgasbord of buffet bites and cold drinks.

Nezesaussi Grill, Dubai Marina

This popular spot is going football crazy for the World Cup, with 24 giant screens, half-time entertainment, and a football-themed menu.

Fairmont The Palm

The Palm has to be one of the most impressive modern developments in Dubai, with luxury hotels and attractions for the whole family. This year, they’re embracing the World Cup with a dedicated World Cup Tent in the Palm Courtyard. This fully air-conditioned tent will have multiple screens offering real-time coverage of all the matches, as well as food and drink. If you’re not into football then the resort has plenty to offer while fans get their fill of the on-pitch action, from the opening rounds to the eliminators and that all-important final.

Barasti Superdome, Barasti Beach

If you love watching football but miss the roar of the crowd, head to Barasti Beach’s Superdome, where you’ll find around 7,999 other fans all cheering and celebrating together. This huge gathering, complete with live DJs, giant screens, and a serious party atmosphere is well worth hunting down. What’s more, it’s free to get in!

Atlantis World Cup Fan Zone, Atlantis Dubai, Palm Jumeirah

Over 2,000 fans will be flocking to this venue, which offers free entry for female football fans, and the price of admission for men is redeemable against food and drinks inside the dome. The main viewing area is The Stadium, while The Bench is a more casual spot that even has its own gaming zone with PlayStations.

No matter where you watch the match, you can stay in Dubai with Premier Inn. Don’t worry about missing any of the football highlights, as we’ll be showing all the World Cup action on our own screens too!
