Dubai, 19 February 2026: To celebrate Ramadan and the Year of The Family, Premier Inn Middle East is inviting children aged 3 to 11 across the UAE to take part in its Ramadan Art Competition. Under the theme ‘My Family in Ramadan’, young artists are encouraged to illustrate how their families celebrate being together, sharing, and the joy of Ramadan.
Entries will be judged by a panel including Ashley Marsden, Head of Art, and Moustafa Mahmoud, Head of Islamic Department, from JESS Dubai School, alongside Maryam Alkaabi and Mohammed Malik from Premier Inn’s People & Culture team, and Managing Director Simon Leigh. The winning artworks will be displayed across Premier Inn’s newly refurbished hotels.
Maryam Alkaabi, Talent and Nationalisation Lead, Premier Inn Middle East, said: “We are delighted to invite children across the UAE to take part in our Ramadan Art Competition. Ramadan is the Holy Month, a time when many pause to reflect and grow, and when acts of kindness and giving are encouraged. It is a special time when families come together, and we look forward to seeing how young artists bring these values to life and share their creativity with the wider community.”
Prizes
Winners will be awarded a family stay, including breakfast and dinner at Premier Inn Abu Dhabi Capital Centre, along with a family visit to The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi. Runners-up will be rewarded with a family day out to the immersive, newly opened Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi.
How to participate:
• Create an artwork visualising ‘My Family in Ramadan’.
• Choose your age category: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, or 9-11 years.
• Submit via the Ramadan Art Competition Form by 20 March 2026.
