Things to do at night in Dubai

Step back in time at the Spice Souk in Old Dubai to savour the smells, or cross the road to the Gold Souk, where the glitter of jewels in the lights appears even more vibrant after night falls.

This is home to five ski runs, across an area the size of three football pitches, and all covered with a generous sprinkling of real snow. As it’s open until 11pm, you can ski ‘til late while the rest of the family shops, dines, or catches a movie.
World class performances
Head to Madinat Jumeirah and the Madinat Theatre. This venue hosts world-class musicians and other top performers, making it a Dubai nightlife highlight. Located among the winding alleys of this modern-day souk, there’s no shortage of shops and restaurants where you can pass the time before or after the performance.
A fountain show for free
For a different sort of show, take a seat next to the Dubai Fountain at The Dubai Mall. Each watery display combines dancing fountains with music and lights, so it is even more dramatic when watched after night fall. Shows continue until 11pm on weekends.
Night Desert safari
Just as the city streets come alive after dark, so does the wildlife out in the desert. Book a night-time desert safari to sample the traditional Bedouin lifestyle or search for exotic nocturnal wildlife, like glow in the dark scorpions.
