Staying Safe: Reducing the risk of Coronavirus at our hotels in the UAE

29 Mar 2020

As Coronavirus continues to spread across the globe, Premier Inn Hotels have acted on the advice shared by the World Health Organisation and local authorities to do all we can to keep guests and team members safe in these challenging times.

We’re open for business

Whilst all but essential businesses have closed, many hotels in the UAE are open to serve their guests who need a place to stay, for a few nights or a few weeks, from AED 99 per room, per night. At Premier Inn, we’re open for business but our facilities are restricted. While our swimming pools and gyms are closed until further notice, guests can still get a good night’s sleep on our super comfy Hypnos beds and stay connected with friends and family with free WiFi throughout the hotel.

Dine in

Breakfast in bed, or a hearty meal for one. Our restaurants are open to serve our guests to keep you fuelled. Start the day with breakfast delivered to your room, and tuck in to lunch or dinner at Nuevo restaurant. Social distancing is a must, guests will be seated according to recommended safe distances and should wear a mask when not eating.

Keeping it clean

Sanitisation is a must. In line with recommended guidance, our teams are working hard to ensure surfaces are sanitised and cleaned thoroughly throughout the day. They are regularly checked by hotel managers, reducing the risk of spreading coronavirus on surfaces.

Hand sanitisation points are located at key guest touch points. In reception, we recommend guests wash their hands in our bathrooms, or use the available hand sanitiser before checking in. Washing our hands is the simplest way we can all help to reduce the spread of coronavirus.

We’re also encouraging all payments to be made using contactless cards, to avoid the handling of cash. And whilst you’re waiting, keep a safe distance of 2m or more from other guests.

Moving around

Whilst all inbound and outbound flights at Dubai International Airport and Abu Dhabi International Airport are back up and running, our shuttle bus service has stopped to all destinations until further notice. If you still need to shop, you can log on to noon.com and discover the Dubai Mall Virtual Store or take in some culture at the Alserkal Avenue online exhibitions.

Stay safe, stay home

Staying at home is how we can all stay safe. However, we’re ready for you to make Premier Inn your home away from home in these uncertain times. With comfy beds, free WiFi and in-room dining options the key ingredients for a comfortable stay.

For greater flexibility, book our Flex Rate that allows you to change and modify your booking until 1pm on the day of arrival at hotels in the UAE. If you have a booking that you no longer wish to keep, please contact the hotel directly to discuss the options available to you.
